About River Rwizi Run

Our mission is to restore the River Rwizi ecosystem and revive the communities that depend on it.

Our Mission

To annually create awareness and fundraise for investments that facilitate the restoration of the Rwizi ecosystem and revive communities that depend on it.

River Rwizi, once the lifeline of Western Uganda, is dying. Through the River Rwizi Run, we bring together runners, sponsors, and communities to restore this vital water source that serves over 5 million people across 12 districts.
